Definition of riveting:

Pull riveting is an alternative to cold riveting (the process of riveting without heating, known as cold riveting, and generally referred to by workers as the "cold work" process). It uses hand or compressed air as the power to rivet the rivet to the riveted part with special tools. The main materials and tools used in riveting are the core rivet and the air-operated (electric, manual) riveting gun. The diameter of the nail hole is generally about 0.1mm larger than the diameter of the rivet.
